The ring on top of each lid is the mount. Flip it up on its hinge, bring the back of your phone close, and the magnet centres it. The hinge holds whatever angle you set. The same ring is the carry handle. Use it with the bottle standing on a stable surface.

MagSafe phones attach directly. For phones or cases without built-in magnets, use one of the two adhesive magnetic adapter rings included in the box. Stick the ring to the back of a suitable phone or, if you use a thick case, to the outside of the case.

Very thick cases, metal cases and pop-socket style attachments all increase the distance to the magnet and weaken the hold.

The mount is designed to hold a compatible phone securely without harming the phone battery. As a general precaution with any magnetic accessory, keep magnetic-stripe cards (older credit cards, hotel key cards, transit passes) away from the ring.

Yes. The bottle is sized to sit in a standard car cup holder. Cup holder sizes do vary between vehicles, so check yours if it is unusually narrow. Use the mount there only while parked; never mount, adjust or use a phone while driving.

No. Use the non-straw lid for anything hot. The straw lid is for cold drinks only, and should never be used with hot or boiling liquids.

Yes. Either lid fits either bottle. The set ships with the straw lid on the white bottle and the non-straw lid on the black one, but you can swap them whenever you like.

No. The set is hand wash only. Take the lids apart, wash with warm water and mild soap, rinse, and air dry with the lid off. The bottles are fridge safe, and must never go in a microwave.

Up to 24 hours, with double-wall vacuum insulation. Real-world results depend on how full the bottle is, how often you open it, the starting temperature of the drink and the surrounding conditions. Pre-rinsing with hot or ice-cold water before filling makes a noticeable difference.
